Happy New Year 2018!

Greetings to family and friends around the world!

We're grateful to all of you for your love and support. Nozomi's message in Japanese is first, then English continues below...

As usual, highlights of the year seemed to focus around travel. In the spring, we visited Hiroshima for the first time, and met up with a university friend of Rob's. We spent time reconnecting and touring the area. In the summer, we spent most of August in America. For the second year, we organized a student trip and shared Oregon with our guest. The following two weeks we experienced wonderful adventures with family. An amazing family reunion at my brother and sister-in-law's house centered around the spectacular total solar eclipse on August 21st. The grand finale was a fantastic road trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon national parks.

We'd be happy to hear from you by email, social media, or whatever form of communication you prefer! And I've been saying this for a LONG time, but I really hope to start posting to my personal blog again:
